Check valves:

Check Valves are the valves which are designed to self-activate itself to open the valve automatically when the flow is moving to the directed direction. In case the flow goes to the opposite direction, the valve gets closed. These valves are generally used for stopping back flow. Check Valves allow fluids and gasses to flow in one direction and prevent reverse flow. Under pressure, fluids enter the valve at the inlet where they force the disc off the seat of the valve and exit through the outlet.
