Bypass Rota meter can be used for measuring the flow rates in 50 NB and above pipelines. Different Range of orifice of Rota meter are used at the inlet. The range of orifice designed in such a way that the bypass flow is directly proportional to the main flow.
Bypass Rota meter works as manometer. These are useful where the measurements must be made in hazardous or remote area, or where electric power is either not available or would be potentially dangerous.
